🏥 Hospital treatment
💳 How cashless treatment works
- Go to an APA network hospital or clinic.
- Tell reception: “I have APA Health Insurance and would like to use cashless treatment.”
- Show your APA insurance card/policy information and ID.
- The facility checks your eligibility with APA.
- APA pays eligible covered costs directly up to your policy limits. You pay excluded or excess amounts.
🧭 Insurance use flow
A visual guide showing the two main paths: cashless treatment at an APA network facility, or pay first and submit a claim when cashless service is not available.
🤒 Normal sickness
For fever, flu, sore throat, stomach problems, headache, minor infection, and similar issues, start with an APA network clinic or hospital and ask for cashless service.
🛵 Accident
For minor accident treatment without admission, your emergency OPD accident limit applies. For serious injury, head injury, severe bleeding, breathing difficulty, or suspected fracture, seek emergency care first.
📍 Useful Vientiane network facilities
These are useful places to remember. Confirm current cashless eligibility for your treatment before planned care.
⚠️ Important
Network hospital does not mean everything is free. Cashless treatment applies only to eligible treatment within your policy terms and limits. Some care may require approval, may exceed a sub-limit, or may not be covered.
🎒 What to bring
APA insurance card/policy information · ID/passport · phone · some backup money in case part of the treatment is not covered.
